The latest buzz this morning is the news from Sony about a 2.0 firmware. It's been confirmed and with a release date of July 27th. It suppose to include support for WPA, a built in web browser (no more wipeout pure hacks), the ability to swap photos with other PSPs and tons of other new features. This is gonna be a major blow to the homebrew scene because because most people will upgrade to grab the browser. We'll be posting more homebrew during the next few weeks as a last hurrah!!! Latest release of Christopher Bowron's PSPChess game. Firmware 1.5 only is required to Play this game! here are the changes since our last post: RELEASE 0.27 new save/load format that supports fischer random (old saves will still work) new variant: fischer random (does not yet support castling) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fischer_Random_Chess variant option game options: WHITE (moved from main option screen) BLACK (moved from main option screen) clock (min) - time of game in minutes (ADDED) increment (sec) - increment of clock after each move in seconds. (ADDED) option mode infra structure changes file selector code (for upcoming pgn import) export PGN uses SAN, better standard SAN (tested with winboard & chesscat) RELEASE 0.26 moves print use modified put char from sdk to display using lower and uppercase new feature for beginner players (and others): option: hilite checks - default off - shows the threatenings piece(s) when in check. (red mask) option: show available - default off - shows the possible moves for the piece under the cursor or the selected start piece.  Ok when I click on the link it has the thing make sure ur psp is at usb mode n then it says click here to download. When I click to download it goes to this black box with this x at the top left hand coner. Please help I gotta problem too. I downloaded it and it worked fine. Then I went on my psp and went to Game, mem. stick, and it showed 2 things. psp chess and corrupted data. I know the corrutped data wasn't there before so it has to be the chess. I selected psp chess and it said can't start game data is corrupted. This is for version 2.0 isn't it? Thanks. I love bieng fan of psp
